Southborough, MA – The Town of Southborough is proud to announce and welcome Pam DiGiovanni as the Town’s first economic development coordinator. Pam will be responsible for working to enhance the economic vitality of the business community and build its collaboration with the town and community. She will be working closely with the Economic Development Committee (EDC), a 10 member board, Chaired by David McCay, a partner at Mirick, O’Connell, DeMallie & Lougee.
Pam DiGiovanni has over 13 years’ experience with economic and community development, outreach, project management and program development within the public sector. Before joining the Town of Southborough, Pam served as the economic development program manager for MassDOT, where she worked closely with over 80 communities to revitalize downtowns to help create and retain jobs. She also served as assistant director for the Federal Transit Administration’s National Rural Transit Assistance Program, where she provided project management and technical assistance related to rural and tribal transit projects nationwide. She has held key positions within the Commonwealth’s Executive Branch, including MassDOT’s government relations director and director of policy. Pam holds a BA from St. Anselm College and MSPS from Suffolk University.
