SOUTHBOROUGH – Despite a the town’s longtime lack of focus on recruiting businesses, economic indicators show a strong, diversified economy that has grown over the past 30 years, a recent study shows.
“All your eggs are not in one basket,” Maureen Dunne, an economics professor at Framingham State University, told selectmen recently. “Your economy is diverse.”
Dunne, a member of the university’s MetroWest Economic Research Center, presented the findings of a center study recently conducted at the town’s urging.
